Kindergarten Students Giving
March 28th, 2017

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases that strikes both adults and children. It often leads to the need for dialysis and a kidney transplant. It affects thousands in America and millions worldwide, many are in urgent need of treatments and a cure. Mrs. Mary Eileen, our Kindergarten assistant, has a granddaughter named Molly. Molly is living with a rare form of PKD, known as ARPKD. She is 4 years old and she is currently waiting for a new kidney and liver at Texas Children’s Hospital. St. Clement of Rome Kindergarten students are bringing awareness to this disease and also raising money to help Molly’s family with medical expenses.
